Tapestry Equine Products was born from a simple but powerful observation: horses were telling us something, and the industry wasn't listening.

We watched horses brace against their girths, resist at the mounting block, and lose their freedom of movement under saddle — and we kept hearing riders say "that's just how he is." But we didn't believe that. We believed those horses were communicating discomfort, and that the equipment was getting in the way.

So we started asking different questions. Not just how do we make this product better? but what does this horse actually need? The answers shaped everything — the placement of our elastic, the design of our sternum pads, the materials we chose and the ones we rejected.

The result is a line of products built on a straightforward philosophy: when a horse moves freely and comfortably, everything changes. The tension softens. The resistance fades. The partnership deepens. And that's when real performance becomes possible — not performance in spite of the horse, but because of him.
